Find the socket
Under the dash on the driver side, within arm's reach of the steering column. Every petrol vehicle from 2001 and every diesel from 2004 has one, by law.
06:41Under the dashHardware
One device per vehicle. It takes power and data from the diagnostic port, and sends both to the app over its own mobile connection. Nothing to wire, nothing for the driver to charge.
The device asks the vehicle which protocol it speaks, then starts reading. Every ten seconds while the engine runs it bundles position, speed and the engine parameters into one small frame and sends it. When the ignition goes off it drops to a heartbeat every half hour.
Almost certainly. The port has been required in the EU on petrol vehicles since 2001 and on diesels since 2004. Heavy vehicles use a different socket, and we send the adapter in the box.
Send us your fleet list before ordering and we will check every plate against our compatibility database. Electric vans report battery charge instead of fuel.

It seats with a click and takes power from the port. The amber light comes on when it finds the network, the cyan one when the first frame is away.
The app has already found the device. Type the plate, pick the driver, and the vehicle appears on the map. No workshop, no wiring, no engineer visit.

We post three devices, you plug them in, and you keep the data whether you stay or not. No card, no contract for the trial.
